FAQ
What is sublimation printing?
Dye-sublimation uses heat to fuse ink directly into the material — not on top of it. This means prints are permanently embedded, dishwasher safe, and won't crack, peel, or fade like vinyl or screen printing.
What is HTV vinyl?
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is a colored vinyl material cut into shapes or text and heat-pressed onto fabric. It's great for bold, clean designs on t-shirts and gives a crisp, professional look. We offer HTV as an alternative to sublimation for certain shirt styles.
Do you ship orders?
We are NYC-based and currently offer local pickup and delivery only. We do not ship via mail at this time. Contact us to arrange pickup or delivery in the NYC area.
How long does a custom order take?
Custom orders are typically ready within 7–10 business days after design approval. Ready-to-ship items are available within 3–5 business days.
How do I place a custom order?
Fill out our Custom Order form with your idea, reference images, and product choice. We'll get back to you within 24 hours with a design proof and price quote.
Can I order in bulk for a team or event?
Absolutely! We love team orders, family reunions, bachelorette parties, and school events. Reach out via the Custom Order form or email us at hello@chichis.online for bulk pricing.
Are sublimation mugs dishwasher safe?
Yes! Sublimation fuses the ink into the coating, so our mugs are dishwasher safe. We recommend top-rack washing to extend the life of the print. HTV vinyl items should be washed inside-out in cold water.
What file formats do you accept for custom designs?
We accept PNG, JPG, PDF, and SVG files. For best results, high-resolution images (300 DPI or higher) work best. If you only have a low-res image, let us know — we may be able to recreate your design.
